材料在高应变率下的力学行为是工程中关心的问题。在SHPB实验中通过减小试样尺寸可以提高应变率,但这有可能引入二维效应从而影响实验精度。本文结合数值模拟和系列尺寸LY12铝合金试样的SHPB试验对小尺寸(相对于压杆直径,下同)试样SHPB实验的准确性进行了分析和探讨。结果表明在试样长径比l/d≥0.5且端面摩擦效应很小时,小尺寸试样SHPB实验是可行的,并采用小尺寸试样获得了LY12铝10e4 s -1高应变率的实验数据。此外,本文还对小尺寸试样试验中可能存在的偏心压缩问题进行了研究,研究结果偏心压缩带来的弯曲效应通过对称位置上的信号平均可以很好地消除。 |

Mechanical behavior of material under high strain rate has been attracted much attention in engineering. Decreasing specimen size in SHPB test can attain higher strain rates. However, two-dimensional effects may possibly be introduced in such case. In this paper, the validity of small specimen SHPB technique was analyzed by numerical simulation and SHPB test of series of dimension LY12 Al specimen. Results show that the stress-strain curve of LY12 Al obtained based on small specimen SHPB test is acceptable when the specimen height-diameter ratio l/d≥0.5 and the interfacial friction is negligible; and the stress-strain experimental data over 10E4 s-1 strain rate are obtained by this technique. Additionally, the effect of specimen eccentric compression in SHPB test were discussed based on experiments and corresponding numerical simulation, the flexural effect caused by eccentric compression could be eliminated effectively by taking the mean value of signal from the symmetrical positions. |
